Consumer Description

WAS DRIVING OUT OF A PARKING LOT CAR SUDDENLY STALLED WHEN ACCELERATING. HAD TO PARK AND RESTART CAR TO REENGAGE ENGINE. WRENCH AND ENGINE LIGHTS CAME ON. CAR STALLED OUT THREE MORE TIMES GOING AROUND THE BLOCK. DIAG CODE WAS P0455. DEALER INITIALLY REPLACED PURGE VALVE. ON WAY HOME FROM DEALERSHIP REPAIR, ENGINE CUT OUT GOING 70 ON HIGHWAY. RETURNED CAR TO DEALER. DIAG CODE WAS P2112. DEALER REPLACED THROTTLE BODY. CAR SEEMS TO BE RUNNING NORMALLY NOW. THIS WAS A SCARY PROBLEM AND A HUGE POSSIBLE SAFETY HAZARD WHEN THE VEHICLE CUTS OUT UNEXPECTEDLY AT RANDOM TIMES. *TR
