Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 FORD F150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 5 MPH, THERE WAS NOISE FROM THE VEHICLE AND THE SPARK PLUGS BEGAN MISFIRING. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN HOME WHERE A MECHANIC INSPECTED THE FAILURE AND ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THE PLUGS WERE FRACTURED AND WERE BLOWN FROM THE COMPARTMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED WHO STATED THERE WERE NO RECALLS. THEY OFFERED NO OTHER ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 175,000.
