Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 TOYOTA PRIUS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 15 MPH, HE HEARD A RATTLING NOISE COMING FROM THE ENGINE. THE CONTACT PULLED THE VEHICLE INTO A PARKING LOT AND NOTICED THAT THERE WAS TO PUDDLE OF OIL UNDER THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION WHERE THEY STATED THAT THERE WAS A HOLE IN THE ENGINE PAN . THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND STATED THAT THEY HAD TO REVIEW THE CASE WITH THE DEALER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000. UPDATED 07/26/12
