Consumer Description

I HAD MY 2005 NISSAN ALTIMA AT MY LOCAL MECHANIC TO HAVE SOME RATTLING UNDERNEATH MY CAR LOOKED AT. THERE WAS A LOOSE HEAT SHIELD THAT THE MECHANIC FIXED AND HE ALSO NOTIFIED ME THAT THERE WERE LARGE AREAS OF RUST ALONG BOTH FLOORBOARDS. THIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN METICULOUSLY MAINTAINED AND WASHED IN THE WINTER. THE LAST TIME THE CAR WAS AT THERE MECHANIC, THERE WAS NO RUST EVIDENT. UNFORTUNATELY MY CAR IS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY AND I WOULD LIKE NISSAN TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THIS IS A MANUFACTURING DEFECT. *TR
