Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 JEEP COMMANDER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS REFUELED, THE ENGINE COULD NOT BE STARTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER. THE DEALER REPLACED THE BATTERY BUT THE FAILURE WAS NOT CORRECTED. THE VEHICLE MADE A WINING NOISE AND THE ELECTRICAL WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL MECHANIC WHO PERFORMED A DIAGNOSTIC AND LOCATED THE FAILURE AT THE ALTERNATOR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 91,005.
