Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 FORD FOCUS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE KEY COULD NOT BE INSERTED INTO THE IGNITION. AFTER TRYING MANY TIMES, THE KEY WAS FINALLY ABLE TO BE INSERTED INTO THE IGNITION TO START THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE DEALER ADVISED THAT THEY HAD TO REPLACE THE IGNITION LOCK MODULE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 20,028 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 21,500. UPDATED 08/03/12*LJ UPDATED 08/06/12
