Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 GMC ACADIA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT HE NOTICED WATER ON THE DASHBOARD PRIOR TO STARTING THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT THEN ATTEMPTED TO START THE VEHICLE, BUT IT WOULD NOT START. THE VEHICLE WAS SUCCESSFULLY JUMP STARTED AND ALL OF THE AIR BAG WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR A DIAGNOSIS. THE DEALER STATED THAT A SEAL NEEDED TO BE PLACED BETWEEN THE FIREWALL AND CAB. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 49,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 52,000.
