Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 BMW 325. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG SENSOR WAS DEFECTIVE, CAUSING THE AIR BAG TO DEACTIVATE WITH A PASSENGER OCCUPYING THE SEAT. THE DEALER REPAIRED THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT SENSOR MAT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 08V384000 (AIR BAGS:FRONTAL) RECALL RANGE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 58,105. UPDATED 06/06/2012 *JS
