Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 KIA SORENTO SX. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 35 MPH WHEN THE VEHICLE LUNGED FORWARD. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE WHILE THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TOWED TO THE DEALER. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE THROTTLE BODY FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 17,000.
