Consumer Description

MY CAR WOULD NOT START NORMALLY. IMMEDIATELY THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT TURNED ON. HAD A CODE WITH A FAILED CRANKSHAFT SENSOR. NISSAN WAS INFORMED AND RUDELY REFUSED TO HELP WITH THE REPLACEMENT EVEN THOUGH IT HAD A RECALL ON IT. SAID MY VIN NUMBER WAS NOT INCLUDED. SEEMS LIKE NOBODY'S VIN # WAS INCLUDED IN THIS RECALL. THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD. I REPLACED THE SENSOR BUT IT COST ME $170.00 FOR SOMETHING THAT NISSAN SHOULD HAVE HAPPILY HANDLED. NEVER BUY A NISSAN. MY FLOORBOARD ON THE PASSENGER SIDE IS ALSO COMPLETELY RUSTED OUT. THERE IS A HOLE IN MY FLOORBOARD. SAME STORY PAGE AFTER PAGE OF COMPLAINTS CAN BEEN SEEN ONLINE WITH THIS PROBLEM. CAR HAS BEEN SERVICED AT UFTRING NISSAN IN PEORIA, ILLINOIS AND NOT ONCE DID ANYONE BRING MY ATTENTION TO THE FACT THAT THIS CAR HAD RUSTED ALL THE WAY THROUGH FROM THE INSIDE OUT. NISSAN REFUSES TO HANDLE THIS ISSUE EITHER. *TR
