Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 FORD FOCUS. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 55 MPH WHEN HE CRASHED INTO A DEER. THE IMPACT CAUSED THE ROOF TO DETACH FROM THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT SPOKE WITH THE MANUFACTURER AND INQUIRED OF HOW THE ROOF WAS SECURED TO THE VEHICLE BUT THE MANUFACTURER WOULD NOT PROVIDE THE REQUESTED INFORMATION. THE CONTACT SPOKE TO A LOCAL MECHANIC AND WAS ADVISED THAT THE ROOF SHOULD HAVE BEEN WELDED MUCH MORE SECURELY THAN WHAT IT WAS. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE FAILURE AND THE CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 15,000. UPDATED 04/19/12*LJ UPDATED 05/02/12
