Consumer Description

UNINTENDED ACCELERATION TWICE WITHIN A MATTER OF MINUTES. BOTH TIMES THE VEHICLE REQUIRED SHIFTING TO NEUTRAL TO STOP. THE SECOND TIME THE ENGINE CONTINUED TO REV AT 4,000 RPMS EVEN AFTER RESTARTING THE VEHICLE. THE LOCAL TECH STATED THAT THE PROBLEM HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE CRUISE CONTROL CABLE AND THROTTLE. THE PROBLEM APPEARS TO BE FIXED NOW, BUT THIS WAS AN EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SITUATION. P.S. ? THERE ARE SEVERAL ONLINE BLOGS DISCUSSING THE SAME ISSUE FOR THE SAME YEAR, MAKE, AND MODEL. *JS
