Consumer Description
I WAS DRIVING HOME FROM WORK WHEN THE BATTERY LIGHT CAME ON WHEN I PULLED INTO MY DRIVE WAY. I SMELLED SOMETHING BURNING AND THERE WAS SMOKE COMING FROM UNDER THE HOOD OF MY 2007 YARIS. I POPPED THE HOOD AND THE ALTERNATOR WAS ON FIRE. I POURED WATER ON IT TO PUT IT OUT AND DISCONNECTED THE BATTERY. IT WAS STILL MAKING AN ODD SOUND SO I POURED SOME MORE WATER ON IT AND IT STARTED SMOKING AGAIN. *TR
