Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 LINCOLN LS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ETC ENGINE FAIL SAFE MODE WARNING LIGHT WAS CONSTANTLY ILLUMINATED. WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH, THE VEHICLE DECELERATED INDEPENDENTLY TO 10 MPH. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER AT LEAST THREE TIMES FOR THE FAILURE BUT THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO REPRODUCE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
