Consumer Description

RPM'S RUN HIGH AND THEN SUDDEN ENGINE CUT OFF; IN ADDITION, A SHUDDER OR VIBRATION DEVELOPS WHILE DRIVING AT SPEEDS BETWEEN 35 AND 40 MPH. ACURA STATED A FAILED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION TORQUE CONVERTER. IT IS RECOMMEND REPLACING THE TORQUE CONVERTER AND INSTALLING AN UPDATED POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE (PCM) TO CORRECT THIS CONCERN. THERE ARE NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS OR CODES AT THIS TIME. TRANSMISSION WAS REPLACED AT 140,000 PREVIOUSLY. *TR
