TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET TAHOE. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING 15 MPH OVER A ROAD BUMP WHEN THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL THUMPING FELT WITHIN THE STEERING WHEEL. THE CONTACT DID NOT TAKE THE VEHICLE TO A DEALER OR A LOCAL MECHANIC. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DEFECT WAS WITHIN THE STEERING COLUMN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 26,000.
