Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 FORD EDGE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM WOULD INTERMITTENTLY ENGAGE WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS ABOVE 30 MPH AND THE VEHICLE WOULD DECELERATE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER AND THE STEERING ANGLE SENSOR WAS REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE, BUT OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
