Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 CHEVROLET S-10. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE DOOR WOULD NOT LATCH CLOSED. UPON EXAMINING THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE LATCH ON THE EXTERIOR WAS CRACKED. THE LATCH ON THE PASSENGER DOOR WAS ALSO EXPERIENCING THE SAME FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO HAVE THE FAILURE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 163,502.
