TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 CADILLAC DEVILLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE ATTEMPTING A LEFT TURN, THE POWER STEERING ASSIST FAILED. THE CONTACT STATED THERE WAS NO WARNING PRIOR TO THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A LOCAL MECHANIC WHERE THE RACK AND PINION WERE REPLACED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 68,000. UPDATED 10/18/11*LJ
