Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 DODGE RAM 2500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE STOPPED, EXHAUST FUMES BEGAN TO EMIT THROUGH THE VENTS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THREE DIFFERENT AUTHORIZED DEALERS, WHERE THEY WERE UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. VARIOUS REPAIRS WERE PERFORMED ON THE EXHAUST SYSTEM AND EGR GASKET, BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10,000.
