Consumer Description

DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE DOOR LOCKS HAVE FAILED. IT WOULD APPEAR TO BE THE LOCK ACTUATOR/SWITCH. DOORS WILL NOT LOCK/UNLOCK AUTOMATICALLY. THIS WAS A SPORADIC PROBLEM OVER THE LAST THREE MONTHS AND HAS JUST STARTED TO FAIL COMPLETELY. THIS IS NOT ONLY AN INCONVENIENCE, THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD SINCE THE DOOR DOES NOT LOCK WHEN THE VEHICLE IS BEING DRIVEN. APPARENTLY THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE 2008 CHEVY TRUCK.ONLY 33,500 MILES ON THE VEHICLE. *TR
