Consumer Description
NOTICED A TRANSMISSION LEAK WHILE ROTATING TIRES. TOOK IT TO MY FORD DEALER, WHO EXAMINED THE LEAK AND INFORMED ME THAT THE FORWARD TRANSMISSION SEAL FAILED. THE SERVICE MANAGER TOLD ME THAT THEY HAD TO REMOVE THE TRANSMISSION TO REPLACE THE SEAL. UNABLE TO DETERMINE IF THERE IS INTERNAL DAMAGE TO TRANSMISSION. THE CAR IS 2 MONTHS OLD AND HAS 5700 MILES. DEALER SAID THIS IS HAPPENING TO MANY MUSTANG TRANSMISSIONS AND THERE IS A SERVICE BULLETIN.
