Consumer Description

ACCORDING TO TOYOTA MY 2005 TOYOTA SEQUOIA'S VSC/ABS SKID CONTROL ECU NEEDS TO BE REPLACED WHEN I REPORTED THAT I ALMOST GOT INTO AN ACCIDENT WHEN I APPLIED THE BRAKES AND THEY DIDN'T WORK BECAUSE OF VSC VASC TRAK AND FOOT BRAKE LIGHTS CAME ON. I SOME HOW CONTROLLED MY VEHICLE AND SAVED MYSELF FROM HAVING AN ACCIDENT. NOW TOYOTA IS ASKING FOR $1100 TO REPLACE THE UNIT. THIS UNIT SHOULD RECALLED BY TOYOTA AS THEY ARE VERY WELL AWARE OF THE PROBLEM. *KB
