Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 FORD F-250. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS EMITTING SMOKE FROM THE TAIL PIPE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, WHO STATED THAT EGR COOLER, ENGINE COOLER, FUEL INJECTOR AND TURBO NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE, BUT DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WAS 63,500.
