Consumer Description
RECURRENT ACCELERATOR PEDAL FAILURE (DRIVE BY WIRE) WITH CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WARNING. OCCASIONALLY, WHEN ACCELERATING, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON AND THE PEDAL DEPRESSING ACTION INITIALLY HAS NO EFFECT FOR SEVERAL DEPRESSIONS AND THEN IT WORKS MINIMALLY. THIS MAY LAST FOR A WHILE OR FOR JUST A SHORT PERIOD. IT HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES. I DID A SEARCH ONLINE AND OTHER PEOPLE ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. *KB
