Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 HUMMER H3. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH THE ROOF LIGHT BROKE OFF ON THE EXTERIOR OF THE VEHICLE . THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO STOP THE VEHICLE ON THE SHOULDER OF THE ROAD. THE PLASTIC AROUND THE SCREWS OF THE ROOF LIGHT FRACTURED. THE DEALER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THE PART WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT MODEL VEHICLE WAS DISCONTINUED AND THE PART WAS NOT AVAILABLE FOR REPAIR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000.
