Consumer Description

ACCELERATING UP ON RAMP TO MA PIKE WITH WHEEL TURNED. WHILE MERGING WITH TRAFFIC AT SPEED WHEEL LOCKED IN TURNED POSITION. FORCED WHEEL BACK STRAIGHT WITH MUCH FORCE AND A LOUD POP SOUND FROM STEERING. DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF FORCE REQUIRED, MANY PEOPLE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO UNLOCK WHEEL AND MAY CRASH. THIS HAS HAPPENED TWO TIMES IN LAST 30 DAYS. DEALER REFUSES TO MAKE REPAIRS, CLAIMS CAN NOT MAKE HAPPEN WHEN IN THEIR POSSESSION. DEALER'S ONLY INSTRUCTS TO PULL OFF ROAD NEXT TIME IT LOCKS AND CALL ONSTAR FOR ASSISTANCE. *TR
