Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 FORD EXPLORER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER REFUELING, FUEL BEGAN TO SPILL OUT FROM THE FUEL FILLER NECK. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE A CANNISTER WITHIN THE FUEL TANK NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000 AND THE CURRENT MILAGE WAS 142,202.
