Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 DODGE CARAVAN. THE CONTACT APPROACHED A STOP SIGN ON AN INCLINE AND AS THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS RELEASED, THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY ROLLED BACKWARD. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHO WAS ABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM BUT ADVISED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS OPERATING AS DESIGNED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE DEFECT BUT WAS UNABLE TO PROVIDE ANY ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000.
