Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 NISSAN ALTIMA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN BRINGING THE VEHICLE TO A COMPLETE STOP, THE VEHICLE WOULD STALL WITH THE ILLUMINATION OF THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WOULD. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND THEY ADVISED THAT THE CRANK SHAFT SENSOR FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 74,000.
