Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 TOYOTA COROLLA XRS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN MAKING A COMPLETE TURN, THE VEHICLE WOULD STALL AND THE WHEELS WOULD LOCK ABNORMALLY WITHOUT WARNING. THE ENGINE WOULD HAVE TO BE TURNED OFF AND THEN RESTARTED TO ALLOW THE VEHICLE TO RESET ITSELF. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER WHO RAN A DIAGNOSTIC TEST BUT COULD NOT DUPLICATE OR LOCATE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED WHO STATED THAT THE DIAGNOSTIC TEST DID NOT REVEALING ANY FAILURE CODES THEREFORE, THEY COULD NOT ASSIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 45,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 83,000.
