TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 FORD FIVE HUNDRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AS THE VEHICLE ENGINE WAS STARTED, THE PASSENGER SIDE REARVIEW MIRROR CAUGHT ON FIRE. THE FIRE WAS PUT OUT BY THE CONTACT BUT THE ORIGIN OF THE FIRE WAS UNKNOWN. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION OR REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT HE WOULD LATER BE CONTACTED BY THE LEGAL DEPARTMENT. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000.
