Consumer Description

WHILE PARKED ON A SLOPED DRIVEWAY WITH FRONT OF THE CAR HIGHER THAN THE BACK, I OPENED THE TRUNK AND STARTED TO REACH FOR AN ITEM IN THE TRUNK WHEN THE TRUNK LID CAME DOWN ON THE BACK OF MY HEAD. WHEN I LIFTED THE TRUNK LID SO I CAN MOVE AWAY AND THEN LET GO, IT SLOWLY CAME BACK DOWN AND STOPPED WITH SLIGHT CLEARANCE BETWEEN THE TRUNK LID AND THE BOTTOM PORTION OF THE TRUNK. I TOOK MY CAR TO A DEALER FOR A WARRANTY REPAIR. THEY TOLD ME THAT THE TRUNK LID IS HEAVY SO THIS IS A NORMAL BEHAVIOR. I FIRMLY BELIEVE THAT THIS IS A DEFECT AND SHOULD BE FIXED BY THE MANUFACTURER. *TR
