Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 GMC ACADIA. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER AIR BAG ON/OFF WARNING INDICATOR WOULD FLUCTUATE EVEN THOUGH AN OCCUPANT WAS IN THE FRONT SEAT. THE FAILURE WAS SPORADIC. THE CONTACT INQUIRED WITH THE MANUFACTURER IN REGARDS TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 07V062000 (AIR BAGS: FRONTAL: SENSOR/CONTROL MODULE) BUT WAS ADVISED THAT HIS THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
