Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE AVENGER RT. WHILE IDLING IN THE PARK POSITION, THE CONTACT HEARD A BEEPING SOUND INSIDE THE VEHICLE AND THE TEMPERATURE GAUGE INCREASED TO HOT. THERE WAS ALSO THE SOUND OF FLOWING COOLANT COMING FROM THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE. WHEN THE GEAR WAS SHIFTED INTO DRIVE, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO FUNCTION NORMALLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS BUT THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. THE VEHICLE REMAINED AT THE DEALER FOR ADDITIONAL INVESTIGATION. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 17,774. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
