Consumer Description
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 NISSAN ALTIMA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH, THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER AND THE CRANKSHAFT SENSOR FAILED AS THE VEHICLE STALLED SUDDENLY. IT WAS RESTARTED WITHIN FIVE MINUTES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHO REPAIRED THE CRANKSHAFT SENSOR BUT NOT THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER. THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER WHO OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 120,000.
