TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA. WHILE DRIVING 3 MPH, THE CONTACT EXPERIENCED SUDDEN ACCELERATED. THE VEHICLE DID NOT MOVE BUT THE RPMS INCREASED. THE CONTACT DEPRESSED THE BRAKE PEDAL CONTINUOUSLY BUT THE ENGINE WOULD NOT STOP REVVING. THE CONTACT WAS AWAITING A RETURN CALL FROM THE DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 8,000.
