Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS 2008 TOYOTA PRIUS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN DRIVING AT ANY SPEED OVER A ROAD BUMP, THE BRAKES WOULD FAIL MOMENTARILY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL REPAIR SHOP BUT THE CONTACT WAS ADVISED THAT THE VEHICLE WOULD NEED TO BE DIAGNOSED BY AN AUTHORIZED DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER ADVISED THAT THE VEHICLE WOULD BE INSPECTED WITHIN SIXTY DAYS. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 40,000.
