Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 DODGE MAGNUM. AFTER ADDING GASOLINE TO THE FUEL TANK THE VEHICLE WOULD STALL. THE FAILURE OCCURRED ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS AFTER FUEL WAS ADDED TO VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO STATED THAT IF THE ENGINE LIGHT DOES NOT ILLUMINATED THERE WERE NO FAILURES. THE DEALER PERFORMED A DIAGNOSTIC TEST AND WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CALLED AND OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 26,000 UPDATED 3/7/11 *CN THE CONSUMER STATED THE STALLING WOULD OCCUR AT ANYTIME AFTER REFUELING. UPDATED 04/28/11
