Consumer Description

MY 2004 JEEP LIBERTY HAS AN EMERGENCY BRAKE THAT DOES NOT HOLD. IT IS A SAFETY HAZARD. I TOOK IT IN AND HAD COMPLETE NEW BRAKES, INCL ROTORS, CALIPERS, NEW BRAKES AND NEW EMERGENCY INSTALLED. STILL ROLLS ON SLIGHT INCLINE WITH EMERGENCY ENGAGED. I KNOW OTHERS WITH THE SAME VEHICLE WHO NOW TELL ME THERE'S IS DOING THE SAME THING. THIS IS AN OBVIOUS DANGEROUS DEFECT OF THIS EMERGENCY/PARKING BRAKE. I HAD MY JEEP ROLL DOWN MY DRIVEWAY ALMOST INJURING MY CAT AND CRASHING INTO MY GARAGE. I HAD TO RUN TO GET INTO IT TO APPLY THE BRAKE BEFORE DISASTER. *TR
