Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 SATURN VUE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AFTER STARTING THE VEHICLE, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT PROCEEDED TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE FOR A SHIRT PERIOD OF TIME. THE CONTACT THEN DECELERATED TO A TRAFFIC STOP WHEN THE VEHICLE STALLED. HE WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE AS IT RESUMED NORMAL OPERATION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE HYBRID BATTERY WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED DUE TO THE BATTERY BEING ON BACK ORDER. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 60,000. UPDATED 01/18/11 *BF THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE STALLED IN THE MIDDLE OF AN INTERSECTION. UPDATED 02/07/11
