Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2000 FORD WINDSTAR. THE CONTACT STATED THE SLIDING DOORS MALFUNCTIONED AND WOULD NOT OPEN DUE TO A LOSE SPRING. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER AND THE DEALER STATED THAT THE SPRINGS ON THE DOORS WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT STATED THE FAILURE WAS A SAFETY ISSUE BECAUSE CHILDREN COULD GET LOCKED IN THE VEHICLE DUE TO THE SLIDING DOORS NOT FUNCTIONING. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 157,000.
