Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 FORD EDGE. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH WHEN THE REAR AXLE HUB BEARING BEGAN EXHIBITING A LOUD, ABNORMAL ROAR. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THE DEALER REPLACED BOTH REAR HUBS. THE FAILURE RECURRED WITHIN EIGHTEEN MONTHS. HE CONTACTED BOTH THE DEALER AND THE MANUFACTURE AND THEY ADVISED HIM TO HAVE THE HUBS REPLACED AGAIN. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 33,189 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 71,573.
