Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 CAMRY LE. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE APPLYING THE BRAKES, THE VEHICLE ABNORMALLY ACCELERATED UNTIL MORE PRESSURE WAS APPLIED TO THE BRAKES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS. THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE BUT ADVISED THAT THE FAILURE COULD POTENTIALLY BE CAUSED BY A DEFECT IN THE THROTTLE BODY. THE DEALER CLEANED THE THROTTLE PLATE TO CORRECT THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED BUT DID NOT PROVIDE ANY ASSISTANCE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 23,900.
