Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CADILLAC DTS. THE CONTACT STATED THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER AND REPAIRED FOR A RECALL ASSOCIATED WITH NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 10V240000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE CONTACT DISAGREED WITH THE REMEDY PERFORMED ON THE VEHICLE, WHICH CONSISTED OF PERMANENTLY REMOVING THE HEATED WASHER FLUID MODULE WHICH WAS A SAFETY FEATURE EQUIPPED ON THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT HAD CONCERN OF POTENTIAL SAFETY ISSUES DURING INCLEMENT WEATHER CONDITIONS. THERE HAD NOT BEEN A FAILURE RELATED TO THE RECALL DEFECT.
