Consumer Description
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 FORD F450 . WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS THE VEHICLE WOULD CONSTANTLY SMOKE, RUN HOT AND LOSE POWER . THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO STATED THAT THIS WAS A KNOWN FAILURE AND THAT THE EGR OIL COOLER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE EGR WAS REPLACED TWICE. THE VEHICLE WAS IN THE DEALERS POSSESSION FOR 2 WEEKS FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE CONTACT WILL NOT HAVE THE VEHICLE REPAIRED AT THE DEALER SINCE HE BELIEVES THAT THE PART WAS DEFECTIVE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 102000.
