Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 HONDA ELEMENT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE EMERGENCY BRAKE ON THE VEHICLE DOES NOT WORK. THE LEVER CAN BE PULLED UP OR PUSHED DOWN WITHOUT DEPRESSING THE BUTTON ON THE LEVER. THE OWNER WAS UNABLE TO NOTIFY HONDA USA. THE DEALER STATED THAT THEY HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF THE FAILURES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE APPROXIMATELY 55,000.
