TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 FORD WINDSTAR. WHILE DRIVING OVER A RAILROAD TRACK AT 20 MPH, THE REAR AXLE BROKE IN HALF. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A LOCAL MECHANIC WHO WILL PERFORM A DIAGNOSTIC TEST AND ADVISE HIM OF THE REPAIR COST. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 160,000.
