Consumer Description

I HAVE A 2005 NISSAN ALTIMA 2.5L. THE ENGINE LIGHT IS JUST ON. I READ THE CODE AND IT SHOWS IT IS A PROBLEM OF MY CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR. I CHECK IT ONLINE, AND FIND THERE IS A RECALL FOR THIS PROBLEM ON 2007 (THE CAMPAIGN NUMBER IS 07V527000). SO I CONTACTED NISSAN COMPANY, AND PROVIDED MY VIN#. BUT THEY REPLY THAT MY VIN# DOESN'T MATCH THE RECALL LIST. THE FACT IS THE VEHICLE MODEL THE RECALL MENTIONED AND THE PROBLEM HAPPENED ON MY CAR ARE EXACTLY SAME WITH THE DESCRIPTION OF THAT RECALL, HOWEVER THEY JUST REFUSE IT. *TR
