Consumer Description
2306 CHEVROLET AVEO LT THERMOSTAT HOUSING CONSISTS OF TWO PLASTIC PARTS GLUED TOGETHER WITH THERMOSTAT BETWEEN THE TWO HALVES. THE GLUED JOINT CAME APART AND THE THERMOSTAT FELL OUT ON THE ROAD. THE COOLANT PUMPED OUT AND THE ENGINE SEVERELY OVERHEATED. TOWING CHARGES FROM A REMOTE HIGHWAY LOCATION WERE $190. REPAIR AT LAMB CHEVROLET IN PRESCOTT, AZ, TOTALED $195. THIS WAS FOUND TO BE A COMMON AVEO PROBLEM AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN A FACTORY RECALL ITEM! *TR
